Consistent service, reliable

This was my third time using Nextpoint, this time for their legal analytics. Like before, the platform was reliable. I've always found their secure document hosting to be trustworthy. The process from requesting a quote to getting access was consistent with my previous experiences, always smooth. It's why I keep coming back; I know what to expect and they deliver. Good for ongoing legal project management.

Efficient for small case

Used Nextpoint's legal case management for a small dispute. Easy to get started. Data migration services worked fine. Pricing was clear. Good experience.

Decent value, slow export

We tried Nextpoint for a legal document production task. The cloud-based litigation support was generally quite good, very intuitive for daily review tasks. Getting set up was simple after the demo. However, when it came to exporting a large production set, it took significantly longer than we expected, which caused a minor deadline crunch. Customer service was helpful when we inquired, but the speed didn't really improve. For the price, especially with the annual commitment discount we got, it's a good tool, but they could definitely improve the export performance.

Good tool, some setup effort

I recently used Nextpoint for a mid-sized eDiscovery project, specifically for document review. The ordering process was straightforward; I requested a demo, and a sales rep walked me through the options. We opted for an annual billing discount, which saved us a bit. Delivery of access credentials took about 2 business days, which was fine. The platform itself is robust. The document review platform handled our 100GB dataset without much lag, even with multiple reviewers. I found the search functionalities pretty powerful. However, initial setup for custom fields and review protocols took a bit more time than I anticipated, requiring a call to support. Support was responsive, got back to me within a few hours and helped iron out the configuration. Overall, a solid product, but be prepared to spend some time on the initial setup to get it perfectly tailored.

Saved money with annual billing

I was looking for a cost-effective solution for trial preparation software and found Nextpoint. I took advantage of the annual billing discount, which made a real difference in the overall cost. The upfront investment felt worth it for the features provided. I also appreciated that they don't charge per gigabyte, as some competitors do, which helped me budget better. The value for money was definitely there, especially for a small firm like mine.

Has anyone used Nextpoint and then switched to, say, Relativity? Curious about the differences, especially for bigger cases.

M Mike 1 month ago
Relativity is kind of the industry standard, so it's a tough comparison. Nextpoint is good, especially for mid-size stuff, but Relativity just has so many more bells and whistles if you really need them. Might depend on your budget too.

Used both. Nextpoint was easier to get started with, felt a bit more modern in some ways. Relativity is powerful but has a steeper learning curve for sure.

Quick question about getting started – how long does it typically take to get an account set up and actually start using Nextpoint?

I Ivy Foster 1 month ago
Setup was pretty quick for us, like a day or two to get the basics going. Then it just depends on your data migration.

I think we had access to the platform within a few hours of signing up, but getting our initial data loaded and everything configured took a bit longer, maybe a week total for a complex case.

Is Nextpoint actually legit? Never heard of them until recently and looking for a reliable eDiscovery solution.

B Brett 2 months ago
Totally legit. Been around for a while and their platform is solid. We've used them for a few large cases without issues.

Yeah, they're not a fly-by-night operation. They focus on legal tech specifically. They're SOC 2 compliant too, if that helps.

My firm is a non-profit, doing a lot of pro bono work. Do these guys offer any special pricing for non-profits?

P Phil H. 1 month ago
I'm pretty sure they do! I remember seeing something about non-profit or pro bono rates in their FAQs or when talking to sales. Worth asking them directly.

Yeah, my buddy's firm got a discount because they're a non-profit. Definitely reach out to them.

Thinking of signing up for Nextpoint. Do they ever run sales or offer discounts? Not seeing any promo codes anywhere.

B Ben 1 month ago
Nah, they don't do public promo codes. You usually get a discount if you commit to annual billing, or sometimes if you're a non-profit.

My firm got a better rate by asking for a multi-year deal. You gotta talk to their sales team directly, that's where the discounts happen, not online.

Hey all, looking at Nextpoint for a new project. How's their pricing work? Is it like per user or data size or what?

W Wendy 2 months ago
From what I remember, they do have different tiers. It's not just a simple per user thing, they look at your data volume too. Best to get a demo.

Yeah, they're not super transparent with the exact numbers online. I think it's a combo, but you gotta talk to sales for a real quote.

Anyone know if Nextpoint offers a free trial or something similar? Wanna kick the tires before committing.

A Andre 1 month ago
They definitely offer a free trial. I think you just hit up their website and request it, or ask for a demo first.

Yup, I did a trial before we decided. It's the best way to see if it fits your workflow.
